The Charlotte Show is a photographic documentation that explores Los Angeles from the perspective of a 71-year-old hustler with a 21-year-old spirit. Having only lived in Midwestern manufacturing towns my whole life, I had a lot to learn about Los Angeles upon moving here in 2016. Who better to teach me the ropes than Charlotte Caron, a woman of LA knowledge, wisdom and unconventional experience. This work captures my friendship with Charlotte; it is evidence of two women trying to find meaning in LA.
